ABOUT MONICA

Born in Manila, Monica works with acrylic paint with a sculptural, tactile approach. She holds a BFA in Painting from the University of the Philippines Diliman and completed two residencies at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her work has been shown at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila and in solo and group exhibitions and art fairs across Singapore, Taipei, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Istanbul, New York, Miami, Aspen, San Francisco, Seattle, and Houston.

Monica lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
